Novi Youth Assistance recently offered four weeks of free partner yoga classes to Novi’s youth and their parents and guardians.

In the weekly one-hour sessions, participants practiced mindfulness, breathing, stretching, and challenging partner poses. This was the first time NYA offered this program, reaching the class capacity within 24 hours of opening registration.

Novi Youth Assistance is a community-based program whose mission is to strengthen youth and families and to prevent and reduce delinquency, neglect, and abuse through community involvement. Novi Youth Assistance initiatives are supported by a unique tri-sponsorship agreement between Oakland County Circuit Court-Family Division, the Novi Public School District, and the City of Novi.
