Winged Wonders Birding Camp with MSU Tollgate Farm and the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary
MSU Tollgate Farm Winged Wonders Traveling Birding Camp Have you ever wondered about the creatures that flap, fly, and float through the air? MSU Tollgate has banded together with MSU Kellogg Biological Station in Hickory Corners, Michigan, to offer our first ever 'sleep-over' camp. Become an ornithologist as you study birds and their amazing feats and hike the fields and forests of Tollgate Farm and KBS! We'll explore wild and domestic birds through interactive, hands-on science activities. This camp meets 9 am - 4 pm Monday and Friday at Tollgate Farm for two days of farm-based birding adventures and Tollgate Farm fun. Tuesday through Thursday, campers travel from Tollgate to stay two overnights at KBS. Interact with research scientists, meet raptors up close and personal, make new friends, and have lots of fun! Best of all, be field scientists and camp out under the stars while at KBS. Transportation and tents provided. Questions koehle43@anr.msu.edu
