A new inclusive play space is set to open its doors in Novi Michigan, bringing a unique gym experience for children of all abilities. We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym Novi, located at 22064 Novi Rd, will provide a sensory-safe environment where kids aged 0-12, including those with special needs such as Autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome, can play and learn together. Owner’s Journey and Vision Yushu Zhou met her husband, Adam, in 2014 and they married in 2017. With Yushu's background in hospitality and senior living, and Adam's decades of experience in finance, their lives took a transformative turn with the birth of their son, Oliver, in 2020.

The COVID-19 gave them firsthand insight into the challenges faced by many families, deepening their compassion and igniting a renewed sense of purpose – which is to create an inclusive and nurturing community to empower children and families to connect, grow, and thrive together. Discovering We Rock the Spectrum Yushu discovered We Rock the Spectrum when she took Oliver to the Franklin, TN location. Instantly drawn to the gym's mission and slogans, “Play with A Purpose” and “A Place Where You Never Need to Say Sorry Again,” she knew this was something special. Upon relocating to Novi, MI, Yushu found there was nothing similar in the area. This inspired her to join the We Rock the Spectrum franchise family, which has 150+ locations nationwide and overseas. Variety of Services We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym Novi will feature a wide range of sensory equipment and toys, including swings, zip sliders, climbing walls, and more.

The gym will also have dedicated areas for imagination stations, arts and crafts, toddlers, infants, a calming room, a therapy room, and spaces for classes and birthday parties. This inclusive environment aims to help children embrace each other’s differences at a young age, while parents can be heard and empowered.
