The Novi Police Department recently received reports of residents receiving phone calls from scammers impersonating sergeants. The scammers tell the victims that they have a warrant for their arrest and that they must pay money immediately to avoid arrest.

 Please be aware that the Novi Police Department will never call residents to inform them of warrants or to ask for money over the phone. If you receive one of these scam calls, please do not give out any personal information or money and contact the Novi Police Department at 248.348.7100.
