Novi Youth Assistance is looking for dedicated adults to mentor Novi school children through its Silver Lining mentoring program.

The children are usually between 5-10 years old. There are no special skills required, except patience and a kind heart to spend 30-45 minutes weekly with a child in need of a steady and secure adult friendship.

There is no teaching involved, the mentor and mentee engage in activities such as games, read or talk – all based on the child’s interest.
