On Monday, December 18th, Novi City Council unanimously appointed Priya Gurumurthy to fill the City Council seat vacated by Justin Fischer's election to Mayor.

A familiar face in Novi, Priya most recently served on the Library Board - initially appointed in 2022. She will serve the remainder of Mayor Fischer’s council term, expiring in 2025.

As a member of City Council she brings a diverse perspective and is looking forward to providing, "best in class service to the city."
