Special guest Earl Lewis will be featured in the discussion group on
Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6:30pm. Lewis is a noted social historian, author, former director of the Center for Afroamerican & African studies, and former president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Lewis serves as director of the U-M Center for Social Solutions, a new center that will address three core areas of social concern: diversity and race, water and the future of work.
