The Novi Community School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory McIntyre as the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations.
McIntyre has over 14 years of experience in the administrative business accounting sector. He has a deep understanding of payroll, budgeting, facility operations, transportation, security, and food service.
“I believe that Mr. McIntyre will make a strong addition to our Central Office leadership team,” said Dr. Steve Matthews, Superintendent. “I believe that he will add value to our team and continue to help us move forward as a district.”
McIntyre will be responsible for the overall financial operations of the district, including audit, management of the bond, budget, construction, food service, maintenance and operations, payroll, purchasing and transportation.
“Novi is a utopia district,” McIntyre said. “Education is so important here. The community is so passionate about education and I just want to be a part of the success that is already here. I’m here to add value and continue that tradition of excellence when it comes to education.

McIntyre comes to NCSD from Redford Union Schools, where he served the past 8.5 years as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Operations for the Benton Harbor Area School District from 2007-12. McIntyre earned his masters of business administration and management from Central Michigan University and a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Tennessee State University. He also has CFO certification from the Michigan School Business Officials. McIntyre joined the district on July 20.
