MSU Tollgate Farm welcomes all ages to our spring 2022 educational programs. Designed for diverse audiences and a variety of ages, school and community programs at MSU Tollgate Farm are interactive, educational, and fun.
All of our MSU Tollgate Farm programs provide the unique opportunity to experience agriculture hands-on in an urban environment. This spring join us for the History and Science of Maple Sugaring, Spring into Farming, Embryology, and Plants and their Partners.
School groups that visit MSU Tollgate Farm get to know life on the farm up close and personal during our programs aligned with education standards. Students use the process of science to investigate phenomena taking place as they make connections to classroom learning.
Opportunities exist for place-based action projects that encourage learners to make a positive difference in their world. Adult and youth community groups also have the chance to get to know the farm up close and personal with programs tailored to the ages and needs of our visitors. Whether your 4 years old or 80 years old we have an educational program for you!
Visitors can also take a ride around the farm on our new accessible wagon that allows for easy loading and unloading and can accommodate up to three wheelchairs. Want to learn more or schedule your educational program today? Visit
