Consul General Shindo of Japan visited the Novi Public Library on Wednesday, Aug. 20 to take a quick tour. Shannon O’Leary, International Language Librarian, was the Library's star tour guide as she welcomed the Consul General speaking fluently in Japanese, shared various international collections and displays and presented him with an honorary Novi library card, books in Japanese and a gift of a tea pot.
