The City of Novi has put a temporary moratorium on weed cutting notices until the 'Stay at Home' order is lifted and landscape crews are allowed to work (Currently May 1).

• Code enforcement will prepare notices in advance of that date if warranted, but notices will be dated and sent after the order is lifted.
• Typically, the first notice each spring allows 10 days for abatement prior to the request going to the City contractor.  Given the circumstances, the City will allow 15 business days for notices mailed within 30 days of the lifting of the order (currently May 30th).
• This policy will be for Spring 2020 only.
