Friends of the Rouge invites community members to apply for the upcoming March 2020 Master Rain Gardener Training Program. 
 
Since 2010, led by Wastenaw County Water Resources, the course has resulted in over 1,200 rain gardens built in southeast Michigan. 50% of participants go on to build rain gardens. 100% of participants become highly educated citizens about stormwater issues, who willingly volunteer their time to maintain public rain gardens and who advocate for increased investment to improve stormwater management in their community.
