Novi's Mike Blaszczyk Signs With St. Francis

Novi senior Mike Blaszczyk, pictured left with Wildcat Head Cross Country Coach Robert Smith, signed his letter of intent to the University of Saint Francis to run on their Cross Country and Track programs next year.

Mike, an All-state Cross Country Runner, was the Regional Champion in the 3200 meter in track, has won numerous league championships, been All-Conference, All-County, All-Region, and an All-American at the USATF and AAU National Cross Country meets. He stated that feels like he is ready to take his career to the next level.

Saint Francis, located in Joliet , Illinois will head up their fourth season as a team and would like to improve on their 2nd place finish for the past 2 years in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. USF's program is starting to strengthen quickly as Mike and other recruits join the team. St.

Francis Head Coach Drew Ludtke's states his goal is to continue their success, and win the conference championship to get an automatic birth to the NAIA National meet for Cross Country.
