Novi Parks Foundation to host second annual “Pour on the Shore” Beer and Wine tasting event on Friday, July 22

NOVI, MI -   The Novi Parks Foundation will host the second annual Pour on the Shore event on Friday, July 22 from 7 to10:30 pm at Pavilion Shore Park, 43390 Thirteen Mile Road. Guests will be supporting the Novi Parks Foundation and, in turn, the City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department while enjoying an evening of tastes, tunes and more.

Tickets are $45 per person and include eight pours of local craft beer or wine, food from local restaurants with live music and dancing on the stone patio, overlooking Walled Lake.

Following the success of last year’s event, ticket availability has been increased to 500 tickets and are they selling quickly. Tickets may be purchased in person with cash or check at the Novi Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Office, 45175 Ten Mile Road and by credit card online at Guests will arrive and depart the event via a free shuttle from Vibe Credit Union, 44575 W. Twelve Mile Road. There is no parking at the event other than those with disabilities.

There are limited sponsorship opportunities available with many ways to showcase your business. Volunteers are needed to pour beer and wine and assist with event set-up and take-down. Beer and wine pourers must be at least 21 years of age.

The Novi Parks Foundation was created to raise funds for the purpose of supporting park enhancements, recreational opportunities and scholarship programs for local children. Since 2004 the Foundation has provided more $338,350 to the City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department to support youth scholarships, park and trail development, sport field enhancements, public art displays, gardens and park amenities.
