“I’d like to thank Stephanie Moore and Kelly Arndt for joining me at the Capitol today and for creating this amazing presentation to provide a snapshot of all the programming that senior centers are offering to meet the ever-changing needs of older Michiganians in the community.”

Rep. Crawford also noted that senior centers are now focusing on programming for activities for 50-year-olds through 100-year-olds, and there has been a notable increase in variety of community engagement activities.

“Senior centers have changed drastically in the past 40 years and they will continue to develop as more and more people live longer and fuller lives,” said Rep. Crawford. “Senior centers play a critical role in the betterment of lives.”
