Huge turnout in Novi for Presidential Primary Election, and a surprise winner

NOVI, MI -  15,471 ballots were cast Tuesday in Novi for the Presidential Primary Election, which is a 40% turn-out.

State-wide, Trump and Sanders won. In Novi though, it was a different story.

Ohio Governor John Kasich won on the Republican side in Novi, with 37% of the vote. Donald Trump was second with 32%, followed by Senator Ted Cruz with 17%.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton narrowly defeated Bernie Sanders in Novi, 51% to 47%.

In Oakland County overall, Trump did win with 36% of the vote to Kasich's 32%. Cruz had 18%. On the Democratic side, Clinton defeated Sanders 51% to 46%
