L. Brooks Patterson endorses Novi's Lou Csordas for Oakland County Commissioner

“Lou Csordas has the experience and expertise to have an immediate impact as the Oakland County Commissioner for District 9 (Novi / Northville)”, declared L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Chief Executive on Saturday.

“I have watched Lou perform as the Mayor of the City of Novi and I am aware of his private sector experience in finance and insurance. As a fiscal conservative he will be a great asset in the tough economic times facing the County and I look forward to working with him”, Patterson explained.

Patterson gave his endorsement of Csordas at a luncheon attended by over 100 people at the Novi Outback Steakhouse on Saturday April 19.

“I am grateful for the confidence that Brooks has in my ability to govern and I look forward to working with him as he continues to run Oakland County government as a business entity” said Csordas.

Csordas says he will seek appointment to the Finance Committee and the Personnel Committee as a County Commissioner. Csordas is employed by US Health and Life Insurance Company based in Sterling Heights Michigan. Csordas is Vice President of Corporate Communications and manages large self-funded health benefit programs for the company.

Csordas is the immediate past Mayor of the City of Novi and has lived in Novi for thirty years.
