Novi Police arrest suspect in theft of items from cars at Lifetime Fitness

Novi Police report they have arrested a suspect in the theft of items from cars at Novi's Lifetime Fitness. The suspect is also believed responsible for similar incidents in other communities in the region.

Police report the 26-year-old Dearborn Heights male was using credit cards stolen from cars at Lifetime Fitness at the Meijer store in Northville Township immediately following thefts in Novi.

The suspect is currently in custody at the Oakland County Jail on unrelated drug possession charges out of West Bloomfield Township. He has a lengthy criminal history for drug possession, larceny from automobile, and receiving and concealing stolen property.

Novi police detectives are continuing their investigation and are  currently searching for other suspects who may be involved.
