Novi Ice Arena
A great place to chill

Winter is here now and the lakes and ponds are starting to
freeze. Pick-up games of hockey are played among friends, and
parents take their kids out to free-skate and have fun. Hidden on
Arena Drive off Ten Mile Road, all the way in the back, is the Novi
Ice Arena.
So instead of having to endure all of the cold bitter weather, the
Novi Ice Arena opens its skating rinks to the public Mondays -
Fridays from noon through 1:50 p.m. and also on Saturdays when times
differ according to scheduled events the ice arena has already
planned for. On Sundays free skating is from 3:00 - 4:50 p.m.
Coming up on December 8th there is going to be a “Skate with Santa”
for kids.
After
opening in September of 1998, the Novi Ice Arena became the home
surface on which the Novi Wildcats varsity hockey team faces off.
Only being 5 games into the season, there are plenty of games left
to attend; so check out their
schedule.
The Novi ice arena offers many events, activities, and lessons to
all throughout the community. Private skating lessons, learning to
play hockey, even becoming a referee are three of the many things
that kids and even adults can learn at the Novi Ice Arena. For more
information, take a look at the Novi Ice Arena's website at
www.noviicearena.com.
Stop by and check the Novi Ice Arena soon -
it's a great place to chill.
